Dr. Pratima Singh

Dr Pratima Singh, RIFS fellow and is Senior Research Scientist and heads the Policy Development and Assessment group at the Center for Air Pollution Studies (CAPS) at Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy, Bangalore, India. She is part of the state lead and central government committees and actively involved with various groups for providing technical advice on air pollution challenges. She holds a PhD in Energy and Environment from TERI University, New Delhi. She completed her MSc. (Tech) - Geotechnology from M S University (Vadodara), and her BSc. - Chemistry from South Gujarat University. She received the Senior Research Fellowship from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) for her doctoral research and is an honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, U.K. Her research areas include air pollution studies, source apportionment, emission inventory, measurement and monitoring of air pollution sources, renewable energy, sustainable development policies, and air pollution & climate linkages.
